Our Mediterranean gardens are intricately designed with sculptural trees and drought tolerant plants, complemented by ceramic pottery, water features and sustainable materials for shade structures and paving. This harmonious blend creates beautifully layered gardens, but it’s understanding how these elements foster a connection with nature, creating the ephemeral, magic moments which makes our gardens distinctive. Founder and multi-award winning Mediterranean garden designer Tanya K Wilson is passionate about creating personal sanctuaries for her clients that are not only layered and meaningful, but also sustainably minded.

The connection with regional textures from materials and native plant life influence our studio’s approach to sustainable and native garden design across the Balearic islands and beyond. By fusing native planting design with a diverse range of Mediterranean appropriate plants, a large variety of plant species provide endless possibilities for our creative and resilient planting combinations. Our plant forward selections consider fragrance, successional flower displays and minimal irrigation once established. Custom or exclusive ceramic pottery add focal features that are a classic element of our gardens.

Terra & Climate

The dry summers and intense sun in the region necessitate garden elements that provide a reprieve from the heat. Water features are important visual components as can be seen in many historic gardens across Spain. Not only do they provide a soothing sound and a cooling effect, they also attract birds and other wildlife. Our experience with both custom water features and pool design will ensure a stunning focal element that harmoniously blends into the garden or courtyard and surrounding landscape.

By character, the Mediterranean lifestyle is the art of living outdoors. Creative shade structures that beautifully integrate the architecture of the home extend the possibilities for outdoor dining, lounging or slow living. Pergolas easily define the outdoor living space and create intimacy. Whether a solid roof structure with reclaimed beams or one that filters light with bleached bamboo canes, natural materials layered with flowering vines provide context to the signature Mediterranean lifestyle.
