With our knowledge of exterior spaces and outdoor living, we can provide early feedback that can affect the siting of driveways, pools and walls for example. We are accustomed to work with various teams to ensure the most cost effective solution for our clients.
For an existing landscape, and depending on the complexity, having a minimum of 3 months from when you would like the landscape completed is ideal.

This very much depends on the size and complexity of the project and site conditions. We can help you evaluate this during our initial conversations if the process is new to you. For smaller projects, a starting point could be €30,000 while a larger country garden normally begins around €100,000. The design fee is separate from the garden installation and normally is a fixed fee if there is a clear design brief.
-
We are firm believers in working with nature, respecting its habitats and its resources. As landscape designers, we have a special role in acting as guardians for the land and plant habitats we create. Ecologically minded gardens are thoughtfully planned with native and pollinator friendly trees and plants, drought tolerant planting and lawn alternatives, permeable paving wherever possible, reuse and recycling of on site materials including composting and mulch, rain catchment and minimal irrigation usage, and the prevention of soil erosion.
-
Our first meeting is free of charge. Having a list of various garden elements you would like in your new landscape along with your vision of how you plan to use your new garden is a great starting point. An idea of budget is also important so that we can help you determine what is realistic.
-
If you decide to hire us, we will need a topographical survey for larger estates or a site plan depending on the scope of the project in order to begin the design process. If you do not have a survey, we can help set this up for you. Please see our services for more information.

This depends on the scope and complexity of the project. New home construction which entails various tradespeople on site requires collaboration with teams and coordinating with their schedules and scope of work. This can be anywhere from 7 months to over 1 year. For smaller garden renovations or planting, from 3 months onward.

We have collaborative teams of garden maintenance companies that we work with for our projects. They are separate from Studio Terraforma and work directly with the client.
Garden maintenance is one of the most critical factors to ensuring the success of the garden, especially in the first years of its development. Maintaining a new garden is nothing like maintaining an established garden. The garden team that built the garden understands it best and would be the most appropriate team to care and nurture it.
